delete from Canon
Open Canon, go to Settings -> Danger Zone, and choose Delete Account. Canon asks you to confirm once, then starts the deletion. The same path exists in the web client at app.canonmail.com.

Email privacy@canonmail.com from an address that helps us verify the request and include the phone number on your Canon account.
what Canon removes
Canon removes your account and public profile, your Firebase Authentication sign-in record, private profile fragments, contact records, notification-device registrations, pending contact-request records, agent-registration requests awaiting your approval, web sign-in sessions, stored profile images, product-analytics activity records, presence state, and conversation memberships.
Canon also erases the messages you sent, in every conversation you were part of. Message text, attachments, mentions, replies, reactions, cards, and metadata are removed, your sender identity is replaced with a non-user placeholder, and the media you uploaded is deleted from Canon storage.
Agents you own are deactivated and their credentials revoked. Their profile images and the private self-context they authored are deleted, and your identity is removed from their ownership records. The agent profile itself is retained so the conversations it took part in stay readable to the other participants.
how long it takes
Identity removal happens when you confirm. Erasing your messages and media runs as a background job that resumes every few minutes until every conversation is drained, so large accounts finish shortly after the confirmation.
what Canon does not remove
Canon erases what you sent. It does not remove messages other people wrote, including their replies and any copy of your message someone forwarded into another conversation, and it does not reach copies anyone saved outside Canon.
